For this trip we will takes you around the famous city for an up-close and personal look at some of its most notable temples, as well as stops at its old city walls, gates and moat.
Highlight of this trip include Wat Phra Sing home of the beautiful Lai Kham chapel with its exquisite woodcarving and northern style murals; Wat Chedi Luang and its enormous Pagoda and the famous landmark of Chiang Mai– the mountain temple Wat Doi Suthep , which is situated on a hill, 1050 m high. On clear days, you will enjoy a fantastic view over the town and the province.
Visit Handicrafts Village, to learn and see the local people making the handicraft including Hand-woven Textiles by silk and hand-painted cotton, Silverware and Umbrellas or paper parasols which are hand-painted in a variety designs. This tour shows you how Chiang Mai craftsmen produce their crafts by hand from the first stage until the finish.
Experience the beauty of the north Start our journey through the hilly, and forest area, just north of the city to see the elephants at work at the elephant camp a lovely place behind the hills. Here, we will give you the chance to make a journey through the forest on the back of these gentle animals; you will be crossing the river and get up and close with the jungle. Continue on your journey with bamboo rafting along the beautiful Mae Taeng River to the raft station before heading back into Chiang Mai. Lunch will be provided at local restaurant en-route. Afterwards visit an orchid farm before going back to your hotel
